MNE will produce full-length fiction and short stories:
The following stages normally take place in the novelization process:
- Writing of synopsis
Once this has been approved, the novel or novelization will be contracted.
- Signature
At this stage, agreement is reached on number of words and deadline; the first part of the advance against royalties or of the flat fee is normally paid on signature.
- Delivery
The second part of the advance against royalties or of the flat fee is normally paid on delivery of the manuscript and approval by the publisher.
- Editing
The novel or novelization is normally edited by the publisher's in-house editor or a freelance editor; any editorial queries will be dealt with at this stage.
- Publication
The final part of the advance against royalties or of the flat fee is normally paid on publication.
